Looking at the long range forecast, the day of should be cool and clear, but all the trails will be saturated from a few days of rain. Most all have good drainage and are decomposed granite or sand, so will actually improve with the wet! There are some spots that may end up being mud bogs though! Which is actually kinda' cool if I do say so!
Whatever you bring will be fine, that's the nature of the ride. But me personally, I would like something with some light side knobs. If you can fit it, a Thunder Burt or Nanoraptor would be great. If not, something like the Nano 40. But really, every bit of this has been ridden with Pasela 35mm and even 28mm tires. Ride what you're used to and like, it'll be great. FYI forecast is now saying rain for Saturday... will be fun!
what are groad conditions like? much mud or just wet or...?
